photographerjonathan - I like everything that Sigma has been putting out in there Art series of
lenses, and I also love there older 85 f1.4, and I am sure that this lens
rocks for what it is, but like everyone else, I am wondering how it's going
to compare to the Tamron, and if this lens along with the Tamron steals
allot of sales from the over priced Canon and Nikon I couldn't be happier,
also I am really hoping to see some great lenses from Sigma for the Sony A7
cameras soon, and hopefully they will be weather sealed
John Geary - Awfully slow for a sports lens. Probably wouldn't work all that well for
birding or wildlife either.
MrAlligam - This lens would definitely come in handy when I shoot Lacrosse games. I
have a 70-300, but that is not enough reach to shoot midfield from the end
line. Definitely on my WANT list.
kingssman2 - wonder how it stacks up with the Sigma 50-500mm lens
